What is The Japan Air Pollution Victims Association?

History

In November, 1973, representatives from air pollution victims associations throughout Japan gathered and the "Liaison Meeting of Japan Air Pollution Victims Associations" was established. After that, in May, 1981, the Association became "The Japan Air Pollution Victims Association" and the association continues its activities to the present day.

Affiliated parties

This consists of air pollution victims associations throughout Japan.

Organization and Management

The organization consists of the general assembly and the executives meeting. The association shall be managed by respecting democratic rules and by placing emphasis on the union and alliance.

Financing

Membership fees and contributions, as well as legitimate donations are the sources of financing.

Directors

The directors will be elected in the general assembly held once in two years.
