"The Japan Air Pollution Victims Association" is an organization consisting of pollution victims and their families who have suffered from air pollution and who belong to regional associations in all over Japan, it was established in 1981.

"Starting from the pollution and ending at the pollution." The campaigns against pollution will start from the disclosure of "the realities of pollution damage" to us, the pollution victims.

"I can't breathe, I want to breathe and fill my lung with fresh air." This is a simple and very natural wish. In order to realize the wish, and from the determination that "I want nobody else to feel the same suffering, remedy the situation before we die" we, the pollution victims, have joined the activities to eliminate pollution, battled to have remedies for all victims who wish to recover their health from the effects of pollution, and dealt with activities of community renovation to have no pollution.

Pollution problems still exist in many places in Japan. There are many new pollution victims in the world, too.

As long as we breathe, we will continue our activities and even expand the activities to realize our wish of, "A blue sky for future generations."
